HOW Clara STAYS FIT


Q. What does staying fit mean to you?

A. Being fit is about feeling strong and healthy. Waking up before your alarm and ready to take on the world.  


Q. What ways do you enjoy staying fit, and why do you feel they work best for you!


A. EMS (Electric Muscle Stimulation) is a huge part of my routine. It made me realize that I didn't have to lift heavy to get that muscle fatigue. But I do believe in cross training. Anything that keeps me active makes me happy - spin, run, play ball with my kids, dive in the lake. Just move. And enjoy the simple fact that you can. Curious what EMS is all about!? Q. Aside from physically activity are there other ways you enjoy staying fit?

A. Food is a huge part of my life. I love food and enjoy foods in their simplest forms. I try to turn all screens off 1 hour before my kids go to bed - so we can talk about our day, our goals for the next day and what made us happy.


Q. Does food play a role in how you stay fit?

A. HUGE!!! Roasted Cauliflower is a family favourite. Just a little olive oil and salt over cauliflower on 400F until golden brown. Then drizzle tahini. 

Another go to - Sweet Potato Toast. Slice raw sweet potato in toast thick slices and broil or put in toaster and then put anything on it... avocado, peanut butter and berries, hummus... YUM!!!! 


Q. If you could share a favourite motivational quote what would it be?

A.  Don't let your mind bully your body!
