HOW Olivia Stays Fit

Q. What does staying fit mean to you?

A. Staying fit not only means to keep your body in shape but to keep your mind in shape as well. When my body is healthy, I feel that my mind follows it and vice versa! I love to feel good from the inside, out! 


Q. What ways do you enjoy staying fit, and why do you feel they work best for you!

A. I love to meditate with @chopra once I wake up as it sets my intentions for the day. I enjoy staying fit with some yoga at @caymanyogaclub for a good stretch and mindfulness. Spin class at @rydecayman for some fun-filled cardio and muscle training with @f45_training_caymanislands. These are the ways that make me feel best and most accomplished (and even brand new). It’s nice to have a little push in your every workout! I even like to go for a swim at the beach every moment I can!  While I was in quarantine, I put myself to the 2 month challenge with @shaunt and @beachbody!  Variety is key. It’s what I find keeps you motivated and wanting to achieve more! 


Q. Aside from physically activity are there other ways you enjoy staying fit?

A. I always give time to myself to make sure I feel balanced. Meditation, reading a book, getting my jade roller out, staying hydrated and getting enough sun time are all ways I love to stay fit aside from the physical activity. 


Q. Does food play a role in how you stay fit? 

A. Food is such a huge role in how I stay fit! It’s the main thing that makes me feel like I’m doing something right when it comes to health & fitness. I start every day with a smoothie or whole fruits to flush out anything  my body should. Then I just make sure I get plenty of plants throughout my day. 

I usually like to make a veggie only stir fry: (I eye ball everything listed based on the quantity I want to make) Broccoli, Grape tomatoes, Kale, Carrots, Brussel sprouts, Asparagus, Cauliflower, or any veggies you decide on. 

Put into a pan and stirred with cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, rosemary, pepper, truffle salt, chipotle powder, jerk sauce, coconut milk and sometimes pepper jack cheese (or any cheese you prefer).
